Welcome to the Harrogate Tap. We are a world beer freehouse, which means we strive to provide the best traditional and modern ales from around the world.
The bar offers the widest choice of beer sourced from across the globe, dispensed from 12 traditional cask handpulls and 15 more modern keg taps, set against a backdrop of bottles and cans from microbreweries and larger, more established breweries the world over. We’re always looking to broaden our range with new and exciting styles.
The actual premises are located within the only remaining part of the original 1862 Harrogate Train Station, most of which was rebuilt in the 1980’s. There are two main rooms, the main bar area, rectangular in shape with the bar itself running down the platform side of the building opposite the seating areas, and the snug, which is visible directly in front of you when you enter the building, smaller and quieter, the perfect place to read the paper?
All this is brought to you by an experienced team, made up of individuals which are passionate about storing, cellaring and serving real ales, ciders, wines and spirits, all of which are carefully selected for your enjoyment. Chosen for quality, nothing else.
That’s all from us at ‘The Tap’, and we hope to see you soon!
